In recent years there has been a tremendous increase in the number of movements that have produced individuals whose primary interest is personal gain, rather than service to the Body of Christ. In many cases they have left in their wake a path of discouragement, confusion, misunderstanding of the heart of God, and as a consequence, bitterness toward any further church involvement. In other cases, people continue to be used and spiritually abused because they are laboring under the false impression that they are out of the will of God if they protest or leave such movements.

It's Tough Being a Woman

During Beth's intro, she mentioned she took a survey of women all ages, all backgrounds and beliefs and asked them this question. One of the most common answers was hormones. Also, the top three answers were submission (yielding), balance and again, hormones.

In the study the first point she wants us to consider is that it is tough being a woman in another woman's shadow .

A few thoughts about the Judas betray controversy: In the Matt:27:1-10 account, it’s mentioned that Judas is: 1. Remorseful, 2. Returns the money 3. Throws it into the temple 4. Calls Christ…“innocent” and 5. Then, hangs himself. Why did Matthew mention all of this?
