I thought that our website would be a good place for people to send their greetings to Pastor Kirkey. You can do so by replying to this post and we'll make sure he sees them.

As of yesterday, the Docs were reviewing all of the recent tests and their results, then consulting with Tim's oncologist in Philadelphia.  At this point, the medical team is focusing on pain management and Tim's comfort. We have spoken at length and of course, all of us believe that God, should it bring Him glory and honor, could heal him from this is a nano-second. At the same time "If in this life only, we have hope in Christ, we are men most miserable..." 1 Cor:15:19.  Tim has focused the past few days on preparing this family for His likely passing. Which, when you think about it, It is really quite a blessing and priveledge! Many pass suddenly and never have the opportunity to do so. Tim, being the leader that he is has called this "another opportunity to be obedient to Christ". So, if the Lord choses to heal him now, we will all rejoice and if He choses not to, we will still rejoice.  Tim and Kathy covet your prayers.

Don't forget to reply and send your greetings!

Re: Our Friends Battle

Pastor Tim!   I now no it is almost time for you to leave us, which I truly regret. You brought light to me, when my world was dark. You brought hope to me, when I needed aspiration the most. You always made me feel loved, when there were no others around. You are a GREAT man! I am so glad I have gotten the chance to know you. As heavy as my heart feels, I must understand that God has better opportunities for you. Thank you for ALL of your support --- I love you Pastor Tim!     For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end. Psalm:48:14

Re: Our Friends Battle

Dear Pastor Tim, Kathy, and all of our Friends at Finger Lakes Christian Fellowship,

We continue to keep all of you in our prayers as you travel through this valley in your lives.  We keep in mind that God continues to be our shelter and it's in Him we trust.  Psalm:91:1-2.  We know His grace is sufficient for every need we may ever have!

My Father, for another night

My Father, for another night
Of quiet sleep and rest.
For all the joys of morning light,
Thy holy name be blest.

Re: Our Friends Battle

Dear Pastor Tim and Kathy,

We thank God for your lives! You are a great blessing to us. As we approach Thanksgiving Day, we have so much to thank God for. He is so good! This evening during service there were many testimonies thanking God.

I am not skilled to understand

what God has willed,

what God has planned;

I only know at God's right hand

is One who is my Savior.

Yea, living, dying let me bring

My strength, my solace from this spring;

That He Who lives to be my King

Once died to be my  Savior!

These turkeys were in my Dad's backyard last spring. Thought you might like them. We are praying for you, Leigh
