Salvation
We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. We believe that all sins, except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (which is the rejection of Christ as Savior), are forgivable. (John:1:12; Eph:1:7In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace; Eph:2:8-10 [8] For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God,
[9] not of works, lest anyone should boast.
[10] For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
; Heb:9:22-23 [22] And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.
[23] Therefore [it was] necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
; 1 Pet:1:18-19 [18] knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, [like] silver or gold, from your aimless conduct [received] by tradition from your fathers,
[19] but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
; Matt:12:31-32 [31] " Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy [against] the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
[32] "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the [age] to come.
; 1 John:1:9)
