What's Up With Scrooge?

"Out upon merry Christmas! What's Christmas time to you but a time for paying bills without money; a time for finding yourself a year older, but not an hour richer...? If I could work my will, every idiot who goes about with 'Merry Christmas' upon his lips should be boiled with his own pudding, and buried with a stake of holly through his heart. He should!".
Does Somebody need a hug or what?
It's easy to get overwhelmed with the number of details, visitors and events during the Holiday season. Philippians 4:6 reminds us to be "anxious about nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Make sure you don't let your mind and emotions get too far away from why you're celebrating in the first place! Praying for others, keeping Him first 'in mind' and being thankful for all we have in Christ....is the Christmas spirit of the joyful saint.
Merry Christmas,
