We Want to Help.

We believe women have the right to a safe and affordable home.  But we do more than provide a bed: we listen, we encourage, and we empower.

our team

Our staff is composed of counselors and servants who are ready and willing to help you "get back on your feet" and most importantly they want to point you to Christ.  Whether you're a Christian or not, we want to help you.  Our goal isn't to convert you, it's to help you.

what you can expect

When you first move in we don't expect you to be employed - and that's not a problem with us.  During your first two months in the house we will help you come up with a weekly schedule to make the most of your valuable time.  You will also have weekly counseling sessions.  During these sessions we will help you figure out your goals and help you work towards achieving them.
We also offer biblical counseling if you are seeking spiritual guidance.  Our trained biblical counselors will use the Bible to gently teach you and help you grow.

how long can I stay?

can I have visitors?

You may have more questions about our house and what exactly our mission is.  please read our "Overview of the Ministry" document to better understand the nature of Bridges Ministries.  If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the church, or the director, Dezarée Case, of Bridges Ministry at: dcase.bridges@fingerlakeschristian.org
We know that your time at the Bridges house may be very different than what you're used to.  While you are here we will help you set up goals to achieve before moving out.  Our home wasn't created to be a permanent living solution; but a temporary residency until you can get back on your feet and stand firm.
We encourage our residents to have visitors and to grow in their relationships with those they love.  Since the house was specifically made to house women, we do have restrictions on who may come to the house.  Please read our "Visitor Policy" for more information.
